Charles Hart are known throughout the Somerset area for carrying out good quality jewellery and watch repairs at very competitive prices. We can undertake repairs on most items of jewellery and watches
We have a local Goldsmith who can carry out sizing to rings, chain & bracelet repairs, re rhodium plating etc. We also use an external goldsmith for stone setting work. (June 2021: please note we are not currently doing stone replacement repairs)
We can also carry out part-jobs and overhauls for most brands of watches from Rolex to Rotary. These are sent away and repaired by our certified horologist. Please call us for a quote to fix your timepiece.In some cases we are able to send your watch directly to the manufacturer.
Most watch batteries are changed on the premises. The prices start from £10.00. Some watch brands may need to be sent away. We can now offer a battery & re-seal service. This costs £90. Normally takes 2-3 weeks.
Other repairs that we are able to do include pearl re stringing. We are not able to carry out clock repairs.
We regret that we no longer can offer an ear-piercing service.
